Unable to delete and Agents as weblogic or users

Hi,

We have recently upgraded OBIEE version from 12.2.1.1 to 12.2.1.4. Whenever I tried to delete an agent report in the new version, I am getting the below error:

Sax parser returned an exception.

Message: The attribute 'xmlns' is already used in element 'deleteIBot', Entity publicId: , Entity systemId: , Line number: 1, Column number: 129

Have anyone faced this error?

You mean (totally) delete the agent or disabling it?

If the first, try disabling it first and delete using Catalog Manager.

Can't say if that a generic issue or related to that given agent having an issue in the XML.

I am having the same issue. It seems pretty clearly a bug, which I will report through an SR. Steps to reproduce (tested on two different running instances, both 12.2.1.4.190416):

1) Create a new Agent (content, schedule, recipients set as you wish; it does not affect the issue)

2) From the web catalog, edit the newly-created Agent

3) Click the X icon in the upper-right of the edit Agent screen, click OK on confirmation dialog

4) Error: Sax parser returned an exception. Message: The attribute 'xmlns' is already used in element 'deleteIBot', Entity publicId: , Entity systemId: , Line number: 1, Column number: 129

Deleting directly from the web catalog list works fine.

I am facing the same issue while deleting or renaming an agent

I have used both the ways ,

through catalog and in the agent section too but couldn't resolve

please help

Most likely you're using Chrome and it's bug 29740641 / 29815620.

Please give complete information when asking the question.

I'm also running into the issue, cannot delete an agent:

• Disable the agent;
• Clear the delivery content;
• Disable the schedule;

This is a bug in chrome please use IE and/or Firefox to delete the Agents.

Thanks a lot Rajesh using firefox it's was able to remove the agent, hope this help others.
