Which version of 12c to be precise?

In the latest version,12.2.1.4, this is the compatibility matrix - https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/obiee-122140-certmatrix-4472983.xlsx. Check the interop tab.

By the way, that is a very old version of 12c. I would highly recommend that you consider upgrading to 12.2.1.4 as the version you are on is no longer supported by Oracle.
