OBIEE 12c Version 12.2.1.4 logs ( only vertica logs ) are not generating with Vertica ODBC driver (

Hi,

I am not able to generate vertica logs in my OBIEE 12c environment Version 12.2.1.4 while connecting with Vertica databse.

All the settings are intact including the Vertica.ini, odbc.ini, odbcinst.ini, obis.properties files respectively.

The ODBC trace logs are generated perfectly but only the vertica logs are not generated.

The paths for all the libraries and similar  parameters are all intact.

Please suggest.

    Hi, is this an OBIEE issue? This sounds like an issue from your vertica data source end if I understand your question correctly.

    +1 to Joel. That's an issue you should take up with Vertica as OBIEE doesn't really have anything to do with that. OBIEE creates its logs and manages them. Vertica has their and manages theirs. OBI doesn't manage the log files of the data sources it queries.
