OBIEE DV 12c

Hi,

IF anyone can help me in understanding about the maximum size which can be uploaded in OBIEE DV 12c.

We are looking to see if DV has all the functionality in comparison with tableau

All together how many such files can be uploaded in OBIEE DV.

Where does the file gets stored.

For OBI 12c, the default is 100mb, file based.

You can modify to use database and you can modify the limits, there are MOS Notes (don't have them handy)

For the latest versions of OAC, th current maximum limit is 250mb

You may be referring to Data Visualization Desktop, the current maximum limit is 250mb

Of course, that is only one data point for a comparison vs. the enire OAC | OBI | DVD ecosystem.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply i was able to upload an excel sheet of 70 mb file,

One more thing which is concerning is i am not able to share the  DV project/report with help of agent.i had raised the same in Below thread.But i was not able to do the same via DV.Nor in BI i get a proper option .

Even when i add a dv project in BI dashboard,it throws an error when recived in email as mentioned in below thread.

I am trying to see if Oracle DV has feature similar to tableau,but with agent feature not availale it is really not helping.

If you could provide any input on above

Tell me about it I keep getting lost between pure cloud DV, OAC, OBI and DVD in terms of what works where.
