OBI Admin Client 11.1.1.9 worked on Win 2016 server & Win 10

Hi,
I had logged a question few months ago asking Does OBI Admin Client 11.1.1.9 work on Win 2016 server or Win 10? Today while toying with a Windows 2016 server, I downloaded the 64 bit version of OBI Admin Client and was able to install it simply by double clicking on the executable. The installation went fine & I was able to connect to the repositories. I checked Oracle's compatibility matrix and 11.1.1.9 64 bit version is supported only upto 2012 server. Then I was able to install it on a Windows 10 desktop as well. Has something changed?
Here is the version of the Admin Tool that is working.
Below version is of my earlier attempt, which didn't work.
