OBIEE 12C JAR FILE UPLOAD

Hi All,
Is there any specific meaning the moment uploading your biapps bar file,
--> I installed OBIEE 12c, initially selected oracle sample application, then once complete installation completed, I uploaded the jar file using command prompt. But here I have bit confusion if you are using biapps objects or if your project is on biapps should we select 2nd option i.e your own existing bi application from export bundle? or after finishing sample installation uploading biapps jar file is fine?

Can you please avoid double posting?
It's against the forum rules and double posting generally lead to less replies and more abandoned threads.OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 installation uploading jar file from biapps projectPick one, stick to it and close the other.

Using SampleAppLite is generally a simple quick way to make sure your install works.
If you load your whole OBIA content and OBIEE doesn't start or you have other issues (at the product level), it will be difficult to know if it's your install having a problem or your OBIA content broke it.
With SampleAppLite you have a basic content and basic set of roles and permissions to make sure your OBIEE 12c if fully functional.
When you import the OBIA jar later it will anyway replace the content. If at this step it breaks your OBIEE you know it's the JAR and not the install.
The final result is anyway OBIEE 12c with your OBIA content inside.
