Catalog Manager Create Report options disappeared

Hello All,
For the last 2 years, I've been able to create catalog reports from catalog manager and I was able to select different object types and the distinct option.
Today I tried to do the same but for some reason both the "select object type" and "distinct" options disappeared, I don't know if this is a configuration change, a patch or an actual bug.
Does anyone have an idea what might be the issue?
Thanks and Regards,
Ulises

Hi Ulises,
You can use the runcat.sh and do the following selection:
============================
You can see all the report options by running the command:runcat.cmd | .sh -cmd report -help
Thanks,
Sareesh

Hello Sareesh,
Actually, that worked perfectly.
For some reason, if you try to look for "catalog manager" in windows search option, it will open the catalog manager but that specific options disappear.
While using runcat.cmd in the search option, this opened a different catalog manager with the options I required.
Any idea what causes this issue?
Also, Thank you very much for this
Regards,
Ulises

Look at what that Windows shortcut does. What does it call? How does it call it? Wouldn't be the first time that a Windows implementation of something working perfectly fine on the command line is messed up.

Hello Christian,
When I checked the catalog manager target, it was referencing the actual runcat files from our installation, I've checked all the runcat files myself, one by one and the option didn't appeared for any of those.
Just when I looked for runcat.cmd in the windows search option, the distinct and object type selection were available, that's the reason I'm asking why does this issue happens.

Ulises

I am facing the same issue except in my case, even opening the Catalog Manager app through the runcat.cmd file didn't solve the issue. Is there any other explanation? Like is it possible that rights to select object type could be withheld? To be clear I am opening catalog in offline mode.

CAUSE
This symptom occurs when using a display with the vertical area is relatively small (e.g. Low screen resolution. High display scaling settings.).
SOLUTION
Please use a display with a higher screen resolution (e.g. 1280 x 1024) or a lower scaling setting.
There is an oracle document for this issue please refer Doc ID 2807479.1
