OTBI related queries

Hello All,

Let me seek your view on below queries:

1) Is OTBI (Operational Transactional BI) part of OBIEE or different tool all together?
2) Is OTBI is supported/compatible and widely used in OCI (On cloud infrastructure environment)?
3) Is OTBI also available with OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud) stack?
4) Is Cloud version of OBIEE is known as OAS now?
5) What is difference between OAS and OAC?
6) Does OAC contain all features of OBIEE?

OAD is a desktop tool. So while you can analyze a lot of data sources it's probably not the most clever thing to do on a desktop. You just won't have the power you need.

OAC or OAS with a well sized server is what you want. OAD is for small stuff.

Yes you can deploy OAS in OCI If you want to have full control and full access down to OS level.

Thanks for your reply and it was helpful.

I am a bit confused as below:

1) I read that "Oracle Analytics Desktop (OAD) compatibility will align with OAC" . Is that mean - we can integrate OAD with OAC? If so then OAD will also analyzes any data source you can think of?

2) I also read that "Customers can deploy OAS on-premises or in a private cloud". Is that mean that OAS can serve reporting needs on both -on premise as well on cloud (OCI- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)?
