I cannot find documentation describing how to migrate an OBIEE 12c environment to OAS 5.5. There are instructions for migrating from OBIEE 11g to OAS 5.5, however, those procedures result in errors when I attempt to perform them in the OBIEE 12c environment. There are instructions for migrating to OAC, but I need to migrate to the on-premises version OAS 5.5. The migration to OAC does not appear to apply here. Regarding my attempt to migrated using the bi-migration-tool.jar; I successfully create the bi-migration-tool.jar file on the OAS 5.5 server by running the bi-migration-tool.sh. I then copy the bi-mgiration-tool.jar to my OBIEE 12c server and attempt to run the export. When I do, I encounter error "SEVERE Migration action failed: Not a directory: /opt/oracle/Middleware/modules". It seems that no matter what I specify in the parameters for the BI_HOME and the DOMAIN_HOME, it results in that same error. Should I be able to use the bi-migration-tool.jar to migrate from OBIEE 12c to OAS 5.5 or is there yet another procedure to perform this migration? Both the old and new environments are LINUX servers.
Thanks,
Joe
