12c Application Role changes taking a long to update

Hi all,

We are finding that any changes to our 12c application roles are almost taking overnight before they are reflected in the presentation layer. We have tried the following:

- Added user to existing application role
- Refreshed biserver cache using "call sapurgeallcache();"
- Refreshed browser cache
- Reloaded metadata
- Killed session manually for that user
- Tried different browsers

I have manually checked 4-5 hours after the change and it still hasn't propagated through the system.
It was only leaving it overnight that the change finally came through to presentation layer.

Does anyone know what the mechanism is in 12c for updates to go through?
Any way of speeding this process up?
