Saving files in obiee from Oracle DVD

Hi, I am trying to import Oracle DVD file(.dva) file into OBIEE shared folder, but I am getting error. Can you please let me know if that possible to to bring those file to obiee.

if I import .dva file(Which has additional extensions), does those extensions will automatically comes in visual analyzer?

i am using higher version of DVD (12-2-5) compare with obiee(12-2-1).

    If you are trying to import it into the catalog it isn't supposed to work: a DVA file isn't a catalog object, it's a DV archive.

    A DVA is supposed to be imported from DV directly.

    More in general OAD does a lot more than OBIEE 12c on the DV side, therefore not sure you can really expect to import things as easily. If you would be using OAS 5.5 would be a lot better as that's in line with OAD 5.5.0. OAD 12.2.5.<something> is quite a lot newer than any OBIEE 12.2.1.<something>.
