OBIEE 12C Agents

Dear Experts,
I need one clarification on Agents after upgrading obiee 11g to obiee12C
OBIEE 12.2.1.4.x, windows serer 2016, sql serer 2016
I activated smtp server in the em, created 1 report and tested I am able to get the email. But I dint tested as of now because those agents has with the few emails. Is it compulsory to move OBIEE 11g scheduler tables data in to OBIEE 12c.?
Thanks in Advance

The 11g Agent history isn't migrated across in the 12c upgrade so you don't need this. Take a look at https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/core/BIMIG/GUID-D0867450-1AEF-43DE-8144-7816F7105CB1.htm#BIMIG-GUID-D0867450-1AE… for more information.

As Joel said you don't need to migrate anything which wasn't migrated by the migration process.
Why would you want to migrate the scheduler tables content?
Do your agents have some "smart" logic checking on their last execution date/time with conditions to run? If it's the case, the condition is maybe not smart enough because the lack of a historical log means it has to be executed.
If you are asking why your agents aren't sending out any email in your new 12c, it's just because they are all disabled. That's a normal behaviour of the upgrade, enable them again and all good.

Dear Gianni,
Thanks for your updated. I gone through below doc id as they mentioned about move the tables form obiee 11g to obiee12c. I am not sure weather it is required to move or not.

To enable them "easily" there is another way: https://gianniceresa.com/2017/03/scripts-to-use-agents-in-obiee-12c-mass-enabling-and-execution-from-a-page/
You can enable them in a click without having to deal with database table content export/import. So you can start with a clean state.

Thank you @Gianni Ceresa
Noted no need to move obiee 11g scheduler table data in to obiee 12c.
