My user login is not working after provider setup

Question

Hello Experts,

I created user biadmin at WebLogic serverlike below:

Then I assigned application roles BI Consumer, B Content Author and BI Service  Administrator at EM to this user.

Till this moment I was able to login to Analytics without any issue with my user biadmin.

Then I created one provider called as idcscloudintegrator as below:

I created respective group and user for this at Application roles as well.

Now problem is I can only login through provider related user and not with biadmin.

Yes it's not a bad way to learn, but comprehension of WHY things work HOW they work can't always be achieved like that because you're missing the bigger picture and the theories behind things.

Like Joel's comment - it one more thing that you need to be aware of. But WHY you need to be aware of it and how that works in the bigger picture? I doubt you can get that from 5min in a forum thread.

To add to @Christian Berg's points, you may also need to look at the ordering of your Authentication Providers as this determines the authentication route taken by weblogic.

Hi Chris,

Yes, I agree  that changes in real life  project without knowing the stuff properly may be harmful. However all this exercise is part of exploring activity on my local system and not related to any real life project. Motive is learning by doing and  it is obvious that I may commit mistakes initially , however I believe that the best way of learning is -let's do it and learn from mistakes
