Year to Date and Previous year to date calculations

Question

Hi All,

Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.3.0

I have time dimension from Year --> Quarter --> Month --> date

Sale and target for the current year to date is working fine but Previous year to date are not working I have tried multiple formula functions including google search but fail

anyone please help me

My suggestion would be to extend your time dimension and add 2 attributes to hold these first date last year and the same date last year values values. This should make your calculation a bit simpler.

Two methods used, both fail, Used the following functions

---> Method# 1

Fig.1, Applied filter in OBIEE  where pV_year is equal to prompt selected year--- actually I  wanted to show target of current year and target of the previous year for the same product

Method # 2

Fig.2, To get the first date of the last year

Fig.3,  used below function to get the last year same date

Fig.4, Used Between filter in OBIEE
