OBI 12c to OAS 5.5 - Migrate security providers.

Question

All,

we are migrating from OBI 12.2.1.4 to OAS 5.5. Out of Place upgrade.

We migrated all content using bar file option and imported that bar file using export/import archive.. This migrated all roles in the EM but the security providers in 12c weblogic are not migrated to OAS  weblogic.

As an alternative, we tried using export/import from weblogic, it says import successful but it did not import security provides.

Trying to see for options if there is any method other than manual way to configure?

Thank you. yes we are upgrading to 5.9 as we are in POC stage still. Thank you for the comments.

Core environment configuration like your security providers are never part of any automated migration. You recreate those in the new environment.

Also: OAS 5.9 is already and you may want to look at using the current version instead of the now old version of 5.5.
