Disable a dimension table in BMM Layer

Is there any way we can get a dimension table disable or mark unavailable for user queries in BMM layer? We don't want to delete the object at this point as we may re-use it in future.

Deny all permissions to it.

And with what Christian said, consider the impact on any existing object using that dimension: you need to plan a proper strategy for the change or be ready to have a bunch of unhappy users because their analysis don't work anymore...
