Can't set user starting page when upgrade from 11g to 12c

I have a problem after upgrade from 11g to 12c, user can't set starting page, when setting starting page, i can choose the dashboard page, and save did't get error.but after logout and login,

the starting page didn't work. The starting page of my account is default. Pls help.

So basically you're saying that the "Starting Page" attribute of a users preferences doesn't stick. Easy answer: that doesn't even work in vanille as can be proven by going to a public SampleApp: http://slc02okg.oracle.com:7780/analytics/saw.dll?BIEEHome

So it's a product defect and you have to raise a service request and tell them that you can reproduce it in SampleApp.

That's the reason why you test EVERY such weird behavior against SampleApp first!
