OBIEE 12c slower than 11g on Import Metadata

Has anyone else noticed that the Import Metadata feature is significantly slower in 12c than it was in 11g? First, it is very slow to move from the 'Select Metadata Types' screen onto the 'Select Metadata Objects' screen, taking 8 seconds to populate the Data Source View in 11g vs 76 seconds in 12c. Second, the actual import after clicking the blue arrow takes 3-4x longer as well. I'm running on Windows 2008 Server. Database on the OBIEE 11g machine is Oracle 11g. Database on the OBIEE 12c machine is Oracle 12c.
