How to fetch data for the Previous month of Prompted Month range?

Hi All,

I have a prompt : Fiscal Month Year Between - MAY-2014 to DEC-2014

For my case the sales is cumulative in nature for only one financial year, ie Sales starts fresh on APR and keeps increasing till MAR of same FY.

So i have to show the sales accordingly, for the above example of prompt, the sales should be:

Sales= DEC-2014 - APR-2014

Here APR-2014 is the previous month of MAY-2014, i.e start month of the Prompted Month Range, which comes beyond the month range.

So is it possible to fetch the APR-2014 data?

Please suggest.
