Reg : Cluster server's

Question

Hi ,

Actually we have cluster environment with 2 cluster servers(A,B) prod is pointing to A server if any issues in A server we will shut down and route it to B server we are doing this through Console for these two servers we have 2 data base server's Prod and Non Prod SQL server is our DB. DB Team is applying some patch's on DB server's so we need to shut down server's before patching and after that we need to restart server's .I need a clarification here that i need restart only Bi server and presentation server from EM or i need to shut down cluster servers also from console.

Can any one suggest on these.

My first suggest on the above post would be - word it about 10 times more clearly. I could make half a guess at what you're trying to describe, and half a guess more at what you're asking - but I could we be wrong on both counts.

For example, Eg "Cluster servers" -- what is that? A physical tin box? An OBIEE instance? A WLS domain? Also versions, OS, etc : How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

"we will shut down and route it to B server we are doing this through Console" - again - not really clear on what you mean here.
