Enhance notification options through Integration with Slack
Description
We want to associate users with a Slack identification in the user profile. The alternative selections for notifications to be expanded to be able to include selecting Slack . The Slack address will be automatically referenced through the user profile.
Use Case and Business Need
Slack is becoming a prevalent communication medium that has advantages over SMS. We want to be able to exploit those advantages such as Group collaboration through utilizing Slack as a methodology of informing our personnel of events that generate notifications.
More details
Currently there is no option to select Slack as a communication channel for notifications. We believe that socialization of events will evolve more through this type of medium than they will with static nature of text/SMS.
