Prebuilt connectors for WMS data

Organization Name
Nite Ize
Description
Hello,
We are interested to have prebuilt connectors to Analytics cloud from WMS in order to report on order and transaction status's between Fusion and WMS. We have built up DOMO today to use extensive data from WMS including:
Receipt of Goods
Replenishment metrics
Order Status and on time fulfillment metrics
Inventory auditing
Capacity analysis
We would like to fully transition onto the Oracle platform, but today it is disadvantageous from a cost perspective as we would need to pull in WMS information into the autonomous warehouse first.
Thanks,
Jenna

Data reliability (we currently have to parse web-reports every 3 months and there is no trigger when data goes down).

Hello,
I do not see any relevant videos in the playlist that talk about a pre-built WMS connector into Analytics cloud. Can you please advise if that is what was delivered? There is a video about advanced connection types for the database but I was looking for a solution similar to how Fusion data is imported.
Thanks,

Hi Jenna,
Apologies for not being more specific. Oracle Analytics provides the ability to connect to any remote platform/app that utilizes the Oracle BI toolset and repository (assuming such access is allowed by the App vendor or product team). These applications as a whole are supported via the Oracle Applications connector (although we should probably rename it as it provides connectivity to even on-prem, homegrown, OBIEE deployments). In these scenarios, we do not plan to provide a named or dedicated connector.
These connectors are designed as cached and not live due to the possible added workload on the application. What we are planning to add shortly is an ability to control the refresh rate of the snapshot so a user will be able to ask OAC to refresh the data every hour (as an example).
I do not know WMS enough to say if the specific data that you stated above is included in the out-of-the-box subject areas, but currently, this is the only path to direct connectivity.
Regards,
Gabby
