Slicers with list and dropdown needed

Description

We need full-fledged slicers similar to PowerBI in OAC. there should be options for dropdowns as well as lists. There should be single select, multi select and forced select options. There should be a search option for long lists.

Use Case and Business Need

Slicers are an integral part of any reporting. We can't use DV as a self-service tool in our company unless standard slicers are available.

need flexibility with positioning or commonly used vs others available but not priority. page filters apply to all visuals but need the ability to ignore filtering for some visuals. Using individual visual filtering is very painful and manual and takes a lot

I agree with this request/idea. The possibility of using different filters/slicing visuals inside of the report is a basic feature. Several users know the functionality of other tools and are missing and requesting their implementation.

Yours was first but I think it was missed because of terminology. This request is planned and will start to show some capabilities in 5.7.
