Understanding how cloud credits will be burned

Organization Name
Clover Infotech
Description
Do you get information proactively on how Cloud credits will be used when you deploy a particular set of Analytics ?
Analytics Cloud services is heavy on burning the cloud credits. When you develop analytics workspace for business users in UAT instance, it would be good to see how Cloud credits are burned when users are going to use your pre-built analytics. May be a counter on top right can give an idea to the developer or administrator. This will also help developers to develop algorithms / charts which are low on burning the cloud credits. This will also avoid developers developing unnecessary fancy charts.
Use Case and Business Need
In a cloud environment it is a joint responsibility of developers and administrator to optimize use of the Cloud credits. You should not expect business users to be responsible for the same. Developers need to explore various ways to optimize their code and use right type of graph which will be low on burning the cloud credits without compromising on data insights.
If you provide this information during development stage, it will be useful for developers.
More details
I don't think this information is available readily on the home page of the workspace.

Cloud credits are burned based on the fact that the instance is up and running, not based on workload. The cost of every minute it identical regardless if the instance is Idle or working hard with thousands of users on it. As such, cost control is based only on managing the instance availability and scale, which the instance administrator can control.
Once the instance is up, there is never a compromise between spend and insights, it is just up.
