Ability to see the number of lines/rows from data set from inspect
Original Idea Number: ca71cce784
I can't think when I wouldn't want this, except if it was going to slow everything. Maybe do it in parallel
OAC collects row counts and other information during the initial ingest - we have a roadmap candidate which would expose this information when viewing the data, would that be sufficient to cover this request? if you could provide some actual use cases that would help as well.
It would be an acceptable first step. But it would be better if it's available when a user click on "Inspect" in a dataset and put it below the the file size of the dataset. In addition it might be interesting to put the number of columns too.
This would be a nice feature. Agree with Ronan, If this slows down Analytics, then not a priority. Otherwise it would be awesome to have this feature
Thanks for the feedback and for the additional details. I have marked this request as an Option for Future Release and will update this idea when this moves forward.
Customer has accessibility issues on the OAC classic dashboard. There are no landmarks exposed to screen reader users on the Homepage. When we drill down into a dashboard, it appears the tables are assigned as landmarks, but the landmark names are not descriptive. There are no standard landmarks for screen reader users…
I have an issue when upgrading OAS with one rcu schema only - BIPLATFORM. As I had db backups I was thinking I could use it for restoring my OAS datas. But this time it is not supported. My issue was 'validate failed: Migration checksum mismatch for migration 2.1.0.0.0' during executing of ua. Now I can only create a new…
We're considering rolling out the AI Assistant to more users, but as admins we've no real way of seeing how it's actually being used. Usage Tracking is great for logical and physical queries, but it doesn't tell us what questions people typed, which ones the Assistant couldn't answer, or where it picked the wrong column or…
Enhancement request Enable shared filter selections and saved states across all eight tabs of The Pulse – Ticket OAC report/dashboard. Filters selected on Opened Tickets should automatically apply to the other seven tabs, wherever the corresponding filter is supported. Current limitation Users must reapply their filter…
Enable OAC to import and map business ontologies to semantic models, providing shared definitions of business concepts, relationships, classifications, and rules across subject areas. Organizations often report on related data from multiple systems using inconsistent terminology and metric definitions. Ontology support…
