    This is a critical feature. With data privacy laws the importance of allowing restriction of export capability at a granular level is extremely important to align policies and data controls and ensure data that is covered by areas such as GDPR/CCPA are not exported and stored outside of the individual companies compliance policies

    Jan 2024: I still don't see anything related to download-related fine-grained permissions :( . Not sure why it is marked as delivered.

    Even removing the Export Workbooks to Documents permission manually does not restrict users from exporting. That option is still available. Only workaround we found was to hide the export option in the dashboard/report UI manually when editing the dashboard. However, big limitation with this is that dashboard author must be the one to do this, Admin cannot do this. It should be simple to have a restrict export option available as its a common request.
