Calling a Web Service in OBIEE Dashboard

Question

Hi Experts,

I being relatively new to OBIEE wanted to understand if i can simply call a URL in OBIEE dashboard. - NOTE I do not wanted to use Action Link, just simple web Page call in OBIEE

well I had previously worked on Tableau Web Page Object and this is exactly what i wanted to achieve in OBIEE dashboard.

i had tried out use Link or image - but failed is calling the web page.

Yes you can ... steer away from trying to mimic functionality from tool to tool .. you can use the text object on a dashboard and put the HTML for the link in there ...
