Description

Today my organization is working in a 70% remote fashion. The primary enabler for our remote workforce is Office 365 and MS Teams. I would really like to have an Oracle Analytics Cloud integration application for Microsoft Teams. Scheduling, Sharing, and Bursting analysis into a MS Teams Channel would be hugely advantageous and could be worked in in parallel to email and text delivery. 

Use Case and Business Need

I have developed a report pertinent to my team. I would like to schedule delivery to the Team Channel each Monday morning. The team is used to consuming relevant information in the MS Teams Channel. This ensures it is delivered to the group.

    Although you can currently set up your report to be in one tab inside a team (Web tab) the connector/ability to post/schedule a report there, once a week for example, would be really interesting and would add value.

    Hello , 

    a couple of follow up questions on this use case :

    1) Would you expect the 'team/channel' to receive a URL , Image or PDF of the dashboard or ( report ) ? 

    2) do you worry that a member of the Channel may not have access to the BI Server and therefore the pdf/image might contain info they are not approved to see ?

    have you tried the existing Slack share option ? 

    How would you change it to better suit your usecase ?

    Answering for Maine. 

    1) I would expect the team/channel to recieve the Image or PDF directly.

    2) I would want it to work much like sending email from Classic. As the analyst I have prepared content, if I send it to a team or email address they must be allowed to view it. I would like it to remain encrypted end to end.

    Is this feature enabled for OAC . Can we post any OAC reports/dashboards to teams channel ? Having this will be value add for our organization .
