Invalid Subject Area in Prompt

Question

Hi.,

I have renamed subject area name in RPD presentation layer., after renaming when I try to edit the existing  Dashboard prompt its showing the following error

"The selected request cannot be performed because it references an unknown subject area named <XX>" , is there a way to rectify the error.

What @FTisiot said will definitely fix all your issues (linking objects to the new name).

Just a detail: make sure you have a backup and you can actually restore it as the search/replace doesn't have a "undo" button, and you destroy half of your catalog as easily as you fix the few objects pointing to the wrong SA name

You may be lucky with catalog manager "search and replace" to replace your old subject area name with the new one.
