OBIEE 12.2.1.2 Default_diff.xml

Hi,

Just a follow up to this post ( ).  In my version 12.2.1.2, I noticed there is no default folder and no default_diff.xml file in the liverpd.rpd directory.   So now I'm wondering where the analyses are querying against.  Is it to the liverpd.rpd?

    So guess what I just ran into the exact same thing with the nice "side-effect" that my changes I do in online mode aren't picked up by the OBIPS whereas the OBIS holds it. Will create an own thread for that

    As to your question: Look for "metadataUpdateDefault_diff.xml" and not "default_diff.xml".

    Hi Christian,

    Is the "metadataUpdateDefault_diff.xml" located in the same directory as the liverpd.rpd?  I don't recall seeing it there...

    nope, I don't see it in our environments.  that's all i see under

    ..../bi/bidata/service_instances/ssi/metadata/datamodel/customizations
