OBIEE 12 c with datasource Essbase 11

Hi!
I have a problem, When a column in the excluded section column appears the following error:
This happens when the column is a filter
When placing the column in the view works correctly without filter:
¿it is possible to filter columns in a view with Essbase?

Hi,
Of course it's possible to have filters when building an analysis on top of Essbase.
It seems you are testing 2 completely opposite cases: does not work when you have a filter on a column and you add it to the exclude part of a view, works fine when you do not filter the column and keep it in the visible columns of your view?
Isn't the issue just the filter?
Did you check the generated MDX to see what it looks like?
What is the value of your @paisab variable? Single value or multiple values? What kind of values are they?

Hi,
I have a Dashboard with the next filters, I assigned a presentation variable to each filter País : @paisab
My report is grouped by period:
When I select Pais, syntax error:
When I select Pais:
In my reports Test with variable filter and Is prompt:
In the two cases the error is generated. Only works having the field in the graph:

Not exactly like this but I have seen similar issue with 12c where the same report works in 11.1.1.7. I did work around by hiding the column in column properties.

Sorry but .... No, that's not how it works.
A community forum is a place where people share things, so great for you that you got a solution, but you don't just come back with a "solved". You share you solution so that if somebody else has the same issue he will find it. The concept being give and take, not just take.
