Failed to Load Project Failed to load project from specified path:

Hey folks,
Lately I started working on Oracle Visual Analyzer, so please consider me as a lawman. So I created a new project with 3 visualizations and some filters. Every thing works fine on screen. I save all my VA projects in My Folders, and I never faced any issues while saving projects as well. The problem comes when I try to open an existing project. When I try to launch from BI Analytics catalog, I am being redirected to va/project.jsp and I run into the error, Failed to Load Project Failed to load project from specified path: *Path*. All the permissions are set perfectly.
Can anyone explain me why this is happening?
Thanks,
Sravan

Hello Sravan,
Could you verify your VA Object Permissions which you have saved under "My Folder", check if object permission is custom then it has Read,Traverse,Write and Delete privilege, in this Read and Traverse privilege is a must for object to be viewed in catalog and object to be launched and open VA project respectively.
The issue you are facing has to be with Permission of VA Object in Catalog.
Thanks and Regards,

Thanks for reply Salman. These are the current permissions I've on the project.

Permissions on VA object looks good, did you try saving the Project in some other(under Shared Folders) location other then My Folder, if done so are you then able to launch VA project from BI catalog?

Yea, tried that as well! No luck

Okay, do you have Admin access to BI application, if yes then follow below steps, only follow below steps for your user folder, keep backup of content in your My Folder just to be on safer side:
1. Login into analytics application as Admin User and go to the catalog user interface (UI) in OBIEE and switch to the "Admin View" of the catalog.
Note - This will allow a service admin to access the home directory for other users.
2. Expand the "User Folders" node to see other users' home directories.
Note - Click on the "Sravan" user's home directory may result in an error message about not having access. This is expected and can be ignored.
3. Click on the "Properties" link and then "Set Ownership of this item and all subitems", taking care to ensure the home directory is the one being changed.
4. Now access the "Permissions" UI and adjust permissions to grant the user access to the user directory "Sravan".
5. Ensure that the permission dialog only has one entry for the user("Sravan") in question and that the permissions are set to "Custom" with the Read, Traverse, Write, Delete and Set Ownership checked.
6. Also ensure that the check boxes for applying permissions recursively, are checked.
7. Once this sequence is completed, the user would have access to their home directory.
NOTE:- To ensure that the dialog has only one entry for the user, please do the following:
- You need to click the plus user button
- Select user in the drop down
- Then search and find that user

Thanks for all your efforts and special thanks to you @Syed Hamd Salman! However, none of these suggestions worked. So we raised an SR with Oracle and they confirmed, it's a bug and suggested to wait until next releases!
Thanks,
Sravan
