We were trying to install OBIEE 12c and RCU schemas installed in database. But while configuring it , got an error saying schemas are not available.
Any hints ?.

dumb question first but ... did you successfully run the RCU to create the schemas first?
If you check in that database do you see the various schemas ? (with the prefix you are using)

I highly doubt you would be making such a silly mistake , but its good to check.
IF database details are correct then could you also check Prefix as DEV (all caps), although I don't think it should be an issue
I checked that as well. but not working . So we decided to create RCU from application screen. But it is failing while configuring with a strange error.
Are you able to access the DB from the server on which you are going to install BI?
Try to create a sqlplus connection to make sure all firewalls are open.
Could you check the RCU log and also the installation log for additional messages that may relate to this error? Also provide the complete version of OBIEE and the OS.

Also crosscheck the database version from the certification matrix once.
Yes DB we are able to connect from SQL Plus
Better if you can provide more details of this error. Can't see much from the screenshot.
DB version seems to be the issue.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0
I tried to install the rcu once again and error screen popped up with 11.2.0.4.0 or higher. let me try with 12c Db and will update you the progress,

I scheduled the report in OTBI and the agent was run successfully. However, I do not receive the report after the run in my inbox. The addresses are properly recorded, and the report is in an excel format and saved as a pivot table in otbi. What can be the cause?
