OBIEE 11g Pivot Table sometimes not refresh automatically

Hi all,

When I open an analysis in view mode my problem is the following:

This analysis has a dinamic table. When I try to change some dinamics partition (ex: year) sometimes it does nor refresh by itself and I have to manually refresh the analysis.

Do I need to modify some settings?

Any help will be appreciated.

And what actions and where you do to "change some dynamic partition" ?

In view mode, when I change between the diferents options (the year in the image) sometimes it does not refresh automatically and I have to do it manually

Hi,

So the "dynamic table" is a pivot (that's actually one of the most "exotic" translations I saw ).

And the value you change are columns you placed in the "pivot table prompts" section of the view.

And when you execute the analysis (so in preview mode or in a page, and not in the "Results" tab when building it) and change values from the prompts the pivot some time doesn't refresh until you click on the "refresh" link underneath it.

What's your exact version of OBIEE? Is the pivot really big? (lot of columns and rows)

You mean to say "Pivot View" report for which display name gets converted to "Tabla Dinámica" in spanish.

What is the complete version of OBIEE that you are using?

Do you face issue with all Pivot View(Tabla Dinámica) reports?

are you facing report refresh issue when placed on dahboard and filtered using dashboard prompts?

are you facing report refresh issue when filtered using report prompts?

Get the below 4 steps done and check.

1)go to the 4th tab (advanced)

2)add below statement in prefix

SET VARIABLE DISABLE_CACHE_HIT=1;

3)APPLY SQL

4)SAVE

My OBIEE version is 11.1.1.9.0, and the bundle Patch 25797429: BI BUNDLE PATCH 11.1.1.9.170418

The pivot tables have between 10-20 rows, and 5-10 columns But they came from pyshical tables with 200.000 rows or more and 10-20 columns. We display aggregated values.

I face this problem with some pivot table not with all. And I face this problem when I open the analysis in view mode (not editing). I don't use any dashboard or report prompts.

I tried the solution proposed by 3295595 but it didn't work.

I have seen that this problem only occurs in Firefox but not in Chrome.

Is there some setting in Firefox wich is forcing to don't refresh?
