OBIEE 12c - Unable to connect to repository in online mode - no ODBC Driver found

Venkat, thank you for hanging in there on this thread.
* I deleted the ODBC System drivers associated with Oracle BI Server.
* I uninstalled the Admin tool.
* I reinstalled the Admin tool. No problems, all steps ran successfully, and it brought up the ODBC Data Source tool.
* I created an ODBC System DSN with the same characteristics as before.
* Then I launched the AdminTool from the new installation location.
BINGO! I can attach in online mode now.
Whatever the problem was, it was fixed by deleting the old stuff and reinstalling it.
