OBIA 7.9.6.4 - How to do a full load with less data

Hello,
I am trying a full load with a small subject area... I am using the $$INITIAL_EXTRACT_DATE parameter do load just the more recent data... Unfortunately I believe that the dimensions are not subject to that cutoff date... just the fact tables... due to the need of keys relationships.
One of the dimensions is very large and it is causing issues in the load...
Pls. is there any other way of limiting the load ?
Txs.

Also check these
$$ANALYSIS_START
$$ANALYSIS_START_WID

please check the value of your $$LAST_EXTRACT_DATE also.

Txs... but according to na old DAC manual.. $$ANALYSIS_START is The start date used to build the day dimension and to flatten exchange rates and costs lists.
It seems that it does not affect the extract.
