Dear Chandra,
1)did you kept the prompt in source report dashboard page and target report dashboard page?
2)Both the column formula should be same(1 in prompt and 1 in report)
3)Did you use the navigate to BI content feature

We will get it done step by step.
1)keep the first report in a dashboard page.
2)Keep the prompt also in the page(for now to test)
a)Column formula of source agreement column should be exact match with the source agreement column formula.
b)keep a presentation variable
Can you paste some screenshots.

Hi Asim,
Please see the screen shots.
1. Report 1 has source agreement column.
2. Dashboard prompt created and presentation variable for Source Agreement Column:
3. In dashboard properties set hidden dashboard prompt to filter.
4. In the dashboard pulled report1, and dashboard prompt (Report and prompt has same column from same subject area).
5. I clicked on BPA-TAWSEEL-10 value (action link to target report) now source agreement prompt does not show anything.
Please let me know how to resolve this.
Regards,
Chandra.

It will not , But make the the prompt as dashboard level and come back to the page. You will find the value will be reflected there.

It's already defined as dashboard scope. Pls see the below screen shot.

Dear Chandra,
When you click on it , It will not change. That is how it works. But once you navigate it will capture the value in presentation variable in the second page(not in first page).
in the second page keep the prompt(or make a new one to avoid confusion and remove the apply button. ie , it is auto apply). in the first post i kept screen shots for that.
Keep the prompt in second page and check if the value getting reflected.(i mean add it to the view.

Hi Asim,
In the second dashboard page which is on the same dashboard. I performed the following steps.
1. I have added same column prompt (Source Agreement column but name of the prompt changed to another) as in the first dashboard page.
I have remove the apply button also.
2. I have added second report (target report).
3. If you see in the dashboard page it looks like:
4. Now i click on source report column value BPA-TAWSEEL-10 and click on test Action link it will move to target report(second dashboard page). The output as follows:
after click on the value, the target report shows as follows:
Seems PV is not catching the value. How to solve this.

Chandra

Show me
1)first reports column formula for Source agreement
2)prompt column formula for source agreement
3)Upper only in one column? or you have added it in upper(source agreement) in prompt also?
4)what is the prompt shows in the second dashboard page. (Please add a prompt in the section itself for testing. Later on you can remove it)

Hi asim,
I have removed upper in first report and prompt in the first dashboard page. But target report output remains same.
As asked i am attaching following screens.
1)first reports column formula for Source agreement
2)prompt column formula for source agreement
The above report and prompt are in the first dashboard page.
3)Upper only in one column? or you have added it in upper(source agreement) in prompt also?
I have removed upper from first dashboard page report and prompt
I have dashboard page with two dashboard pages.
Source Details dashbaord page has first report and prompt
Target Details dashboard page has: Prompt names differ but column name is same (Source Agreement) in both db pages.
For testing purpose i have removed the BPA Details report from Target Details dashboard page and kept only prompt to show prompt value.
Now i have clicked on the source report value.
The prompt value in the target shows nothing as shown below.
Regards,
Chandra.
