How to navigate to child report based on value in parent report.

    Hi asim,

    1st dashboard page has prompt.

    2nd dashboard prompt has the same prompt as shown below.

    Now on click of report value from first dashboard page .

    The output from second dashboard page prompt value as follows:

    No change in the prompt.

    what is happening if you  choose a value from prompt in first page, then just go to the second page(target page) from the menu on top?

    HI asim,

    I have selected BPA-TAWSEEL-10 value in the first prompt and clicked apply button.

    The prompt in the second dashboard prompt shows the value as selected in the first page prompt.

    create a sample single column report with navigation to target page with the source agreement column. Column name should be exactly same as what inside the prompt(no upper ,lower nothing extra). Then try navigation. I strongly believe that your existing source report is incorrect. So create a single column report and try.

    Created new report with source agreement column.

    Placed this report in dashboad page1 (Source Details) and prompt.

    Source agreement column has navigation link to target report.

    I have kept only one column in the target report and column name is: Agreement number.

    onclick on the value in the source report. then target report displays nothing.

    Presentation variable is not setting here. WHY?

    Value is setting now. Now i clicked on "BPA-TAW-3" value, My target prompt is displaying the value.

    As shown below it is played the value BPA-TAW-3. i have clicked on BPA-TAW-3 value in source report.

    Now make the prompt apply button as autoapply and check. It will pass to the report. Can you please mark the helpful answers
