What is the order of the providers in console right now? Could you make sure DefaultAuthenticator is set to the first?

    Did you recently configured AD?

What is the exact version of OBIEE you are running right now?

0.) Edit: Obviously back up the environment first!

1.) WLS LDAP - so the "Default Authenticator" - first in the sort order of security providers

2.) Mark it as SUFFICIENT so it lets you through as soon as it passes the check "is this user in the WLS LDAP?"

3.) If you really want to be sure that AD isn't used remove the virtualize=true in the security provider configuration so that only the first provider will be chosen

    Hi Christian

Both DefaultAuthenticator and ADAuthenticator have SUFFICIENT in Control Flag.

How to understand Order of providers? I did not find anywhere!

    Regards

I took a screenshot of one of my environments. Yours must have at least the second and third.

This issue has been resolved now.

Admin contacted Oracle, they thought certificate expire issue was causing this issue. We did a import of certificates and it worked.

Not very sure if this is the reason as we did the import few times even before contacting Oracle but did not work!
