how to reset data dynamically in dashboard prompts without clicking on reset button in obiee 12c?

I have 3 dashboard prompts having dependent values. Product list values are displayed based on BU selected and Application list values are selected based on Product.
Suppose I select BU as 'Central'. Products related to Central are displayed in Products dropdown, select say 'ATOM' and the result is displayed.
Now, I chose BU as 'APAC', at this moment, 'ATOM' should have been disappeared from Products dropdown as this is the product of a different BU and the products of APAC should be displayed. But, ATOM is still visible in Products dropdown, and I get 'No Data Present' which is wrong.
Can anyone please help me how to resolve this error, that product and application prompt are dynamically reset while a BU value is changed?

a) are those columns in a hierarchy?
b) are they dependent on all prompts or just specific ones?

There are no hierarchies. These are 3 different columns of a single table. Also,
Product prompt depends on BU and Application prompt depends o BU and Product.
For eg, for any BU(Business Unit) contains multiple products, and each of those products contain multiple applications.

It would be of great help if anyone could guide me on this.

Do you have this enabled?
If not, which version are you using of Oracle-BI?

Hi Michael,
I am using a different approach, instead of all column values, I am using 'SQL Results'.

facepalm...
Circumvent the normal functioning of the tool and you get funny behaviour.

Hi,
As you are not using what the product provides as functionality you can't expect to have a feature allowing you to fix the issues you got when not using the product functionalities.
As soon as you move into "SQL results" prompts you can't really expect to have simple connected things anymore.

Dolly, Instead of using Limit values by 'All Prompts', check mark each individual prompt even though you're selecting all. I have seen All Prompts not working the way it should do, l'm thinking this might be your issue. Just try and see how that goes.

When a prompt column is set to "SQL Results" instead of "All Column Values" you don't have the "Limits values by" option at all.

Hi,
It does not work this way. I have tried it. Any other alternative?
