OBIEE 11.1.1.9 Report Runs in Answers But not on Dashboard

Hi Gurus,
I am facing a very wierd issue. The report runs in answers. But when I place the same report on Dashboard it just spins and spins and doesn't give me the result. I am pulling about 40K records in a pivot view. Please help.
Thanks

Have you done any analysis at all? Looked at the queries, looked at the logs...anything?
Because without any analysis we may just as well throw random stones at the issue.

What are the prompts you have in dashboard. Make sure that the column filters in the analysis not replaced by dashboard prompt. Check if filters are "Protected" whenever required.
Thanks

Hi Christian,
Yes, I did pull the logs and the queries are running pretty fast on the database. The weird part is in manage sessions, the session shows as completed and gives me the whole statics about the query on database and logical query time etc. But it never stops spinning on the dashboard page.
The second thing is when I tried to reduce the record set to about 10K records, the report does work both in answers and dashboard.
The third thing is I see a of error on sawlog repeating.

Hi Arijit,
There are no prompts on the Dashboard. A report with filters works fine. But when I place it on a dashboard page it does not.
Thanks

Check your instance config file for view / cube setting. When you say upto 10000 rows it supports, it tells me you might need to look at the limit set there.
