I want to ask if this configuration screen applies to only Analyses and Dashboard emailing? We also have BI Publisher and I noticed it has its own SMTP configurations. So I'm kind of confused.
Yes, that's the OBIEE mail settings, so agents for OBIEE.
Publisher is an independent tool in the end, it's sitting there in the middle, but it has its own life ...
It shares security if configured that way, it can use the BI server as a source but it's still an independent tool.
