Datasource of connection-pool is not getting changed in MUD

Hello Experts,
I am facing a strange issue, that whenever I am trying to checkout a project from MUD and trying to change the datasource name in connection-pool, its not reflecting back.
Steps I am performing:-
Checkout the project
Go to connection-pool and open it
In datasource field change it with the new name.
save the reporsitory and consistency check.
Publish it back to network.
But the new name given in datasource is not reflecting.
OBI version:- 12.2.1.10
Package:- 160601.0400.0000
MUD version 6
Please let me know if I am missing any steps here.
Thank you all for your help.
Regards,
Abhi

Have you tried to check out the entire RPD and apply the change?

Hello Donselaar,
Yes, I have tried that but no luck.

Also is this the only change that you are trying to apply? As a workaround it might help if you are including other changes like adding a column.
On rare occasions very minor changes seem to be missed

Changes to physical connection settings are not propagated to the master repository upon merge and publish. This ensures that developers can apply settings for their local test data sources to perform unit testing of their model changes without impacting other developers.

Yes, that makes (much more) sense, although I have had rare occasions on which minor changes were not propagated hence my suggestion.

Sure. You can always script it with the admintool.cmd command line

Hello Christian,
I am still not able to understand, how to use the script of admintool.cmd in changing the datasource connection parameter in MUD environment, so that next time if that project is checked out it will be visible to all.
Sorry, if I am asking something silly.
Regards,
Abhi
