OBIEE - action links for drill down and across purposes

Hi All,
I have a dashboard which includes many analyses that will have the ability to drill across and down (hierarchy created already in the database). Problem is when I drill across a certain report (action links), the initial report disappears and the drilled across report displays. Is there a way to freeze the initial analysis/report you are drilling across on so that users will be able to see the original report and the drilled across report so that it will help them visually to better understand the data?
Best,
Andrew

If I understood your question correctly, when creating the action link, you can click on the "Options" button and then check the box "Open in new window"

Pedro's suggestion is good, but depending on your exact requirement you may also want to look at master / detail functionality, there the detail report 'listens' to a channel which is set by the click on the master report, with both remaining visible.

I agree and this was my initial thought, but I'd like for the user to be able to see reports based on multiple action links provided. I think for now I may have to go with Pedro's suggestion. Thank you both!

I am not points grubbing for Pedro or myself, but good forum etiquette is if you get an answer then at least mark your question 'Assumed Answered', then others don't waste their time trying to answer your question. Also, if the answers are genuinely useful then marking correct or helpful will help other users of the community who might have the same issue you had...
Finally, do yourself a favour and change your display name to something more meaningful, it can still be anonymous, but having a name makes others more likely to answer your questions - as does not leaving a host of open questions in your wake.
Finally, thanks much appreciated and hope your project goes well.
