OBIEE 12C adjust table column width
Hi,
I thought this would be a easy property change, but I can't figure out how to adjust the column width of an OBIEE analysis. I read most of the posts and many people seems to be having this issue. I tried the Additional Formatting width option, wrap/unwrap, etc. The column auto-adjusts to the heading. Is there a way to do this?

Hello,
Can you try to adjust the heading as well as the column value width?
This will definitely work.

Looking at this question and your other post...Why? Just why?
It seems that you want the tool which renders things dynamically to become static. What's your target? What are you trying to achieve? Do you want it to be more like Excel in a browser?

Maybe OP needs to look at BI Publisher.

Hi,
I also found out through painful experience that if you have a column of width 10 (random number here) and you have text that does not break with a space in the column of width 15, then your column will wind up being width 15 - OBIEE will not break the text at your chosen width.

Yeah as so often: Wrong requirement, wrong tool

Can you please close this thread if your question has been answered?

Thanks. Looks like OBIEE auto-adjusts the width depending on your text, number of columns, heading, etc. Can't really set it a certain size and save it.
