can 2 instances use the same BI/Infra tables

Question

Hi , I was thinking if this can be done ..

I've a obiee12212 instanceA running from one oracle home and domain home . Now can I have another oracle home  and domain home which will host my new obiee12212 instanceB with same infra/Bi tables used in instanceA . Only thing that will change in instanceB will be ports.  when when using instance B i will shutdown instance A

Nope, you have to create RCU schemas differently.

You can't share RCU tables across OBIEE instances. You'll need to create a new set of schemas  for your instance B.

No I cannot .. it will throw error while config that the Tables are already been used.   thanks
