Export isse for date columns in excel for OBIEE 12c.
when i am exporting the data into excel in OBIEE 12c my date columns are showing as numbers. I have used the custom formatting for my date fields and my business needs the data to be shown in custom format only. The below oracle Doc is asking me to change the format of the date column to default which my user is not accepting. Any other possible solution. Appreciate your help.
Mine is OBIEE 12c 12.2.1.2.0 version.

1.) "The below oracle Doc"? Which one?
2.) The export configuration is explained in detail in the documentation:
3.) You should upgrade. 12.2.1.2 is out of error correction support since August 2018: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocContentDisplay?id=1664916.1

Thank you Berg for looking into this. We are in the process of upgrading. this was a interim issue. Yes i have gone through the documentation. I have found some useful information,But what i have observed is after some time when we export the data it was coming fine with out doing any modification, after that we tried multiple times to reproduce the issue but was unsuccessful. Need to see if this repeats again. Thanks a lot.

Sounds a bit random. If I were you I would still make sure that things are correct 100%.

FYI, we have this problem with OBIEe 11.1.1.7:
Exporting reports and dashboards Exporting to Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 does not work correctly. Export only to Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or later.
Exporting to Microsoft Excel 2003 does not format correctly for all reports. Microsoft Excel 2007 and later are recommended. However, if you override the Default Data Format in a CUNYsmart analysis and append a %, then it will cause formatting issues when exporting to Excel 2007 as shown in the following example.
If this note is relevant I can post the screen shots.
