We recently upgraded to OBIEE 12c.  While using OBIEE 11g, we did not have SSO enabled and were able to use NQUser/NQPassword parameters in an OBI dashboard URL so that it would login/appear on an external website.

Oracle support is saying there is no way to configure this the same way with OBIEE 12c and SSO enabled.  Has anybody had any luck finding a workaround for this?  We need a page with OBIEE dashboards to be able to appear on an external website without prompting sign-in.

It would appear that you're on 12.2.1.3+ in which case, lightweight SSO is enabled by default.

Oracle Support Document 2316810.1 (OBIEE 12c: Using NQUser and NQPassword in URL, Fails to Login When Single Sign-On (SSO) or Lightweight SSO (LWSSO) Is Enabled) can be found at: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2316810.1

We actually have to keep SSO enabled in order to use Federated access.  I was hopeful about disabling lightweight when we started researching this, but it isn't an option for this particular case.
