Email Button in Results Bar after Upgrade to OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0

Hi All,

We upgraded our non prod environment  to 12.2.1.4.0 from 12.2.1.1.0. After upgrade, we notice Email button present in the results bar in of the environment. Email button is visible in all browsers. We need to disable Email button.

Also we notice a broken black line in the Analysis page. Please let me know how to fix this ?

OS : Windows Server 2012 R2

    You're running 12.2.1.4 looking like 11.1.15?

    Hi Christian,

    Yes, it is 12.2.1.4.0. Another person performed the 12C installation and Customization based on the business comment saying '12c should look same as 11g'. Now when I performed the latest upgrade, Email button is coming.

    Who ever is said that " 12c should look same as 11g" I want to give them Oscar award. Jokes apart

    My question :

    1) what the hell 12c should look like 11g ?

    2) you said you upgraded from 12.2.1.1.0 to 12.2.1.4.0 . is your 12.2.1.1.0 also like 11g ?

    3) who ever the person did the configuration ( Oscar award nominee ). Did he fiddle the system files to bring this look (or)

    Just changed the dashboard style to old one like blaf to get the old look  ?

    And I have a 11g environment  I don't see email button

    This is what happens with too much of customization. You think you are doing something but it has ripple effects in the places you don't know.

    Ex : You buy 2000$ apple mac book and break the seal which says void warranty. Now all we can do is keep fiddling further.

    Hi Christian,

    Don't think that's possible as the person left company. For a person who took this over, only option is to fix the issues and move over.
