does updating var requires restart of all bi services or only few

Question

This is obiee 12.2.1.2

I am udating my connection pool and rpd variables like below..

./datamodel.sh updaterpdvariables -C  /home/rpdvars.json -U biuser -SI ssi

./datamodel.sh updaterpdvariables -C /home/connectionPools.json -U biuser -SI ssi

Do I need to rest all the the bi services or few or none.

Didn't find any doc that talks on this.

That’s what I said in my earlier post. All you’d need is to reload files and metadata.

so that means , no restart of any services required.

These changes should be immediately available after reloading files and metadata in the OBIEE presentation  services administration screen
